New social trends related to proliferation of digital technologies and increasing demands towards safety are in the focus of the program. Experts will also discuss the increased importance of partnerships, long-term planning and the opportunities offered by endowments for consolidation of resources and the sector sustainability.
Oksana Oracheva, the General Director of the Potanin Foundation: “Shared Power is a symbolic antidote to the crisis and pandemic. This year we focused on such terms as solidarity, ownership, sympathy and they are fully related to the endowment model which implies involvement in common cause.
Responding to the crisis, the Potanin Foundation offered a long-term program to support the non-commercial sector and develop infrastructure. NGOs supported us using endowments as a tool for ensuring sustainability of organizations. 15 organizations, the winners of the Potanin Foundation grant competition that was aimed at support of infrastructure, are focusing on the development of the endowment model. As organizers of the forum, we did our best to develop a relevant program and a safe format of the forum. The digital format, in spite of its limitations, opens new opportunities: we can dedicate the whole week to the endowment and we will be happy if you join us”.
