The Competition statistics

344 applicants from 64 regions applied
NGOs: Going Agile nomination: 229 applications
Museum. Culture. The New Form nomination: 115 applications
Winning organizations in the NGOs: Going Agile nomination are engaged in a broad range of fields: they help children and adults with various diseases and disabilities, individuals in difficult life situations, migrant workers and homeless people, the elderly and orphaned children. These groups are most vulnerable and in need of special attention in a crisis situation we are experiencing. It is noteworthy that the winning cultural organizations are also significantly diverse. In addition to public and private museums traditionally supported by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, they include theaters, cultural foundations, and printed media mobilizing the professional community to overcome the crisis together.
Oksana Oracheva, General Director of the Foundation: “We can see that we made the right choice when we decided to support those whose job is to help others. We are also happy to see a great deal of interest in the competition. Thanks to Common Cause, we got to know a huge number of organizations all over the country doing truly great things. And we can now support them in their important work. Supporting those who are at the frontlines, close to people in need of help, those who know what kind of help is most needed, those who are quickly realigning their activities and taking up new tasks — this is an important element of the anti-crisis measures. Only our common efforts can ensure that urgent treatment is provided to those who need it, that humanitarian aid is delivered, and that foundations are able to develop their volunteer services and new fundraising strategies. That museums and theaters don’t disrupt their creative processes and their staff and artists are able to continue their work.”
