Vladimir Potanin Foundation Ranks First in RAEX Ranking

Foundation tops list of private and corporate nonprofits by partnership potential

RAEX has published the results of its latest ranking of private and corporate charitable nonprofits by partnership potential. According to the study, the Vladimir Potanin Foundation ranked first, with a score of 89.51.

The 2026 ranking includes 213 private and corporate charitable organizations. Compared with the previous edition, 28 new nonprofits have joined the list. The study's authors note that this trend reflects the continuing institutionalization of corporate and private philanthropy in Russia.

A total of 877 charitable organizations were included in the 2026 ranking. The private and corporate nonprofits ranking is one of its segments and includes organizations working in education, science, culture, sports, philanthropy, healthcare, the environment, and other socially significant areas. RAEX notes that the number of participants has increased significantly from the previous edition, indicating continued development of the nonprofit sector.

Second place went to the Vklad v Budushchee (Contribution to the Future) Charitable Foundation, while the Miloserdie (Mercy) Charitable Foundation for Social Protection ranked third. The Pochet (Honor) and Metallurg (Metallurgist) charitable foundations also made the top five.

Among the Foundation's strongest areas, the study's authors highlighted its high level of public recognition and media activity. The Vladimir Potanin Foundation ranked second among participants by this indicator.

The ranking considered the scale of organizations' activities, information transparency, public recognition, and media activity. The assessment was based on data from participant questionnaires, public reports, open sources, website traffic, social media presence, and media mentions.

RAEX has published its ranking of charitable organizations by partnership potential since 2020.

The results are available on the RAEX website (in Russian).
