The Art Newspaper Russia newspaper held an official ceremony in the Moscow Manege 2 February 2017 to announce winners of its 5th annual award. The Foundation, Olga Sviblova and a group of donors were acknowledged as the best in the Personal Contribution nomination for the joint project with the Center Pompidou - “KOLLEKTSIA! Contemporary Art in the USSR and Russia 1950-2000”.
14 September 2016, the Centre Pompidou unveiled an extraordinary donation of more than 250 works of Soviet and Russian contemporary art assembled through the outstanding efforts of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.

Last week a Russian translation and adaptation of Cards for Culture – Museum Edition was launched at the Intermuseum festival in Moscow. Erik and Jasper visited the city to run a teaser workshop with over 80 local and regional museum and heritage professionals.
The first grant competition of the Olympic Scholarship Program for visiting professors is completed. The competition was held to attract the best world-class experts to RIOU, introduce innovative courses into the ROIU curricula and promote dissemination of best practices of the world sports industry.
In May-June 2016 the State Tretyakov Gallery (Mikhail Vrubel Hall, 10, Lavrushinsky Lane) hosts the Cultural Leadership in Modern Worldpublic discussion program, supported by the Partnership Program of the Foundation. The Museum Guide Forum – a final annual event, traditionally presenting the outcomes of Vladimir Potanin Foundation activities in Arts and Culture – took place in the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege”.
In Moscow at the National Center for Contemporary Arts (NCCA) a meeting of a group of German professionals with representatives of museums of Moscow took place. A visit of German museum specialists was organized within the framework of the Russian-German bi-lateral training program, which represents a part of the Museum Bridges program of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
