Natalia Shulgina

Program Director

Natalia is responsible for programs and projects in the field of education, primarily the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program.

Since 2001 Natalia has been involved in program and project management, working for such organizations as the British Council and the Golden Mask Theatre Festival and Award, as well as higher education institutions such as the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (in partnership with the University of Manchester, UK) and the British Higher School of Art and Design (in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, UK). She is one of the authors of a series of English language textbooks and a textbook on critical thinking and has worked as a teacher trainer, trainer, independent education consultant and translator.

Natalia graduated from the Russian State University for the Humanities in 1993 with a Diploma in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. In 2007 she completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Teacher Training in English Language Teaching (University of Exeter, UK), and in 2015 gained a distinction in the joint Master of Education Program with the University of Manchester/ Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences. In 2020 she completed project management course at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
